Hiking and Nature
Konza Prairie;
South of Manhattan off of McDowell Creek Rd
3 hiking trails ranging from 2.5 to 6 miles.
No pets or bicycles are allowed on the trails.
Kansas Landscape Arboretum;
South of Wakefield on the west side of Milford Reservoir.
Open from 8 a.m. to dusk from March 1st to October 31st.

Camping and Water Recreation
Tuttle Creek State Park
Tuttle Creek Reservoir is the 2nd largest reservoir in the state, holding 12,500 acres of water and about 100 miles of shoreline. The park feature camping site from tents to RV Campers and Cabin rentals. Numerous trails are available from hiking to mountain biking and equestrian, for exploring and enjoying Flint Hills environment. Great fishing and boating opportunities are not to be be missed, with multiple fish species inhabiting the reservoir.

Milford State Park
Milford Reservoir is the largest reservoir in the state. Holding 15,700 acres of water with many species of fish including, catfish, crappie, large mouth bass, white bass, small mouth bass, and walleye, making it a great destination for anglers. There is the 19,000 acre Steve Lloyd Refuge which provides habitat for multiple species of wildlife to observe. The Milford Fish Hatchery and the Nature center located below the Dam, have interactive displays and educationsal exhibits. Manhattan Ice Skating Rink
Manhattan's Ice Skating Rink at the Wefald Pavilion in Manhattan's City Park will be open from November 11th to February 21st.

Greater Riley County Ball Association
The Greater Riley County Ball Association organizes summer youth T-Ball, Baseball and Softball teams in Riley County so that local kids can play locally, host home games and not have to travel on weekends.
