Per Riley City Council decision on May 26th, the city will move forward with the hiring process of Pool Manager and Lifeguards for the 2020 season. This decision is not a final decision to open the pool. The city pool must be fully staffed all with existing, current certifications. With social distancing, any hands-on/in-water training is not possible. This also prevents our ability to offer swimming lessons for this season.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as our council makes this difficult decision while keeping our community safe.
