Code Enforcement Officer (part-time)
The City of Riley is accepting applications for a code enforcement officer to issue violation notices related to inoperable vehicles, weeds, trash and other nuisance complaints. The employee will inspect the community at least weekly and respond to requests for service from citizens and city staff. Applicant must be 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and public relations skills and be knowledgeable on city code. Other duties may be assigned by the Mayor and/or City Council. Pay will be based on experience. Successful candidate must pass pre-employment and background testing.
